Adult
Programs
Kahal B'raira seeks to
provide a diverse
and rich array of programs for adult members. These include:
- Feature presentations
and discussions
on Sundays (at the same time as the Sunday School); details are found
on
the calendar page. Our programs
include
guest speaker or member presentations on a variety of topics relating
to
Jewish or Humanistic culture, history, philosophy, arts, society,
politics
or other issues. Some meetings focus on the process of running
our
cooperative community. Member suggestions and feedback are
welcome;
please email here and your
comments
will be forwarded to the Sunday Program Committee chair.
- Sunday services,
including times
for reflection, discussion, celebration, healing and remembrance.
These precede the Sunday programs. Our printed Sunday Services
for
2001-2002 are available in HTML
or PDF
format (requires Adobe®
Acrobat® Reader™)
- Adult Education
Committee: sponsors occasional activities on Jewish history,
culture, and Humanistic Judaism. These are listed on our calendar.
- Brief Sunday
business meetings to share
important congregation news or make group decisions
- Beyond Sunday
Morning events to provide
additional times and places for adult members to get together,
including
outdoors activities, brunches, etc. These are listed on our calendar.
