11:30-12:45 – Program: The Life and Work of Marc Chagall

Marc Chagall: One of the 20th Century’s greatest painters grew up in a poor, Hasidic family in the Russian village of Vitebsk. Rabbi David Berkman, an artist himself before becoming a rabbi, will share with us Chagall’s creative life, explaining how—even though the young artist left behind his formal religious upbringing—his work reveals the font of creativity that emerged from his Jewish roots and culture.

Please join us for all or part of the morning. For the Zoom link, RSVP to info@kahalbraira.org.
