    Susannah Heschel will speak about How Should We Teach Jewish Studies in the Age of Trump.  Professor Heschel teaches at Dartmouth College and has found that the content covered and the questions raised in her classes have changed in this new political environment. Her presentation will draw upon the wide range of areas she has researched and studied.  More about Professor Heschel click HERE.

    Join us for a Jewish humanistic service.  On this Sunday, we break into groups for a congregation wide book discussion.  The book we will be discussing is Jews and Wordsnovelist Amos Oz and historian Fania Oz-Salzberger.  To learn more about this book click here.

    Join us for a staged reading, along with musical accompaniment, of “To Fill”-a fictional short story about the intimate and intergenerational effects of the Holocaust upon a family. Written by Jane Buchbinder, “To Fill” will be performed by members of the KB congregation, Aliza Kopans, Sara Laschever, David Meshoulam and Zach Mayer.  A Q & A with the author and performers will follow.

    Join us for our Open House Sunday.  Experience what KB Sundays are like. Families with children are welcome to visit classrooms, meet teachers and attend a parent information session. Adults without children will enjoy coffee hour, meeting members, participating in a service and adult program.  There is a featured adult program at most KB Sunday’s.   They include engaging speakers, art, theatre, music.  This Sunday we will have a panel of speakers about the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement which is focussed on Israel and has stirred a lot of controversy in the Jewish community.  Come learn with us.
