Our musicians play instruments that include voice, clarinet, guitar, recorder, saxophone, flute, piano, cello and bass. We are led by Zach Mayer, baritone saxophonist and singer, and interim music director Lysander Jaffe. Lysander and Zach create arrangements for all abilities and experience levels. We don’t have fixed arrangements so we can adapt to different instrumentation as needed.

Anti-Racism Book Group (members only)

KB members are invited to join our book group where we will learn together through reading, self-reflection, and discussion. We will read both non-fiction and fiction (current and historical fiction) and will also share online resources with each other that will support our learning and current experiences. This is a peer-supported group and not led by an expert on the subject. We are on a learning journey and hope you will join us.

Yom Kippur – Kol Nidre Service

Yom Kippur – Time to Reflect and Begin Again For A New Year! Hear the ancient song Kol Nidre chanted and as an instrumental. Our humanistic liturgy and our member reflection will make this a very meaningful experience. There is a memorial section of this service and the names of departed loved ones will be honored.

Yom Kippur Morning Service

Yom Kippur – We reflect on the year past and the year ahead.  This service is family friendly, and meaningful for all ages. It is filled with music and meaningful ideas and a short reflection by a KB member.  We have a refreshing view of Jewish tradition and we do it in a way that is accessible to all. We warmly welcome you to celebrate with us.
