    Winter Weekend

    A weekend of socializing, playing games, winter sports, enjoying snacks and meals together and getting to know a fun group of people.   Our winter weekend is a time to relax or be active, play or read a book, make conversation or sit quietly by the fire place, ski, snow tube, swim or take a walk.  You choose.  All ages enjoy this weekend.  It all takes place at Purity Springs Resort in Madison, NH.   For more information   info@kahalbraira.org

    ADULT SERVICE and PROGRAM (MLK Celebration – Building Cross Cultural Connections) and SUNDAY SCHOOL

    Our MLK speaker, Colette Phillips, believes in the importance of celebrating diversity in our communities.  Colette has been an ally to many different groups, including the Jewish community, and models an understanding of the issues each group faces.  She originated Get Konnected! an event that builds bridges and creates cross cultural and inter-racial social networks and connections. There will also be an adult Humanist service and Sunday school.

    ADULT SERVICE and PROGRAM (Speak for the Trees – Tu B’Shevat, Jewish Arbor Day) and SUNDAY SCHOOL
    Feb 2 @ 9:00 am – 11:30 am

    Celebrate TuB’Shevat, the Jewish Arbor Day, when we recognize our need to care for trees and all living things on our planet.  David Meshoulam, KB member and science educator, will tell us about trees, their importance to us and how we can preserve them and our environment.

    There will be a celebration of TuB’Shevat, activities for children including Sunday school

    David (pronounced Dah-veed) Meshoulam teaches at many levels – children, teens and graduate school courses.  He has created innovative interdisciplinary courses in science and he co-founded Speak for the Trees.
