Rosh Hashanah Family Service
Sep 19 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Celebrate Rosh Hashanah – The Jewish New Year!  This service is family friendly but we welcome all ages and it will be meaningful for all.  Our service will be online so that everyone may safely attend and we are considering whether there can also be an outdoor in person component.  In either format, it will be filled with music and meaningful ideas.  We have a refreshing view of Jewish tradition and we do it in a way that is accessible to all.  We warmly welcome you to celebrate with us. Pre-registration is required and will be available here soon.

Yom Kippur – Kol Nidre Service
Sep 27 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Yom Kippur – Time to Reflect and Begin Again For A New Year!  Our service will be online so that everyone may safely attend.  It will be filled with music.  Hear the ancient song Kol Nidre chanted and as an instrumental.   Our humanistic liturgy, and a speaker at each service make it a deeply meaningful experience.  There will be an opportunity to acknowledge yartzeits (memorials).

If you have a long Jewish tradition you will find our service to be a refreshing alternative.  If you are new to Jewish tradition, you will find this service very accessible.  All are welcome.  Pre-registration is required and will be available here soon.

Break Fast Concluding Service
Sep 28 @ 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm

Yom Kippur is a day of reflection and renewal.  This short service will lead us to conclude this special day by committing ourselves to a better year and a better world.  Hear the blast of the shofar, one more time, as a symbol of our commitment to change in the year ahead.  If you like, prepare a meal before hand to break your fast or to enjoy after the service.   The service includes blessing over the bread and wine.  RSVP to info@kahalbraira.org for the zoom link.
