The LGBTQ+ Issues Working Group is proud to announce our inaugural meeting on Tuesday, August 9, at 8:00pm via Zoom.  Everyone in Grade 8 and above is invited – we’re looking for a good intergenerational group to learning about the issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community, looking at this social justice issue through humanist and Jewish lenses, and bring awareness and opportunities for tikkun olam to the congregation.

Those who have already signed up have received an invite to our listserv.  If you (or a teenager in your house) did not get the invite and want to join the working group, please email Lidia at l.pruente@kahalbraira.org with your name(s) and whether you can make it to the August 9 meeting.
