    Our KB Sunday includes Sunday school and adult humanistic service and program.

    Our program speaker is Susannah Heschel, noted academic, speaker and Jewish feminist. The election in 2016 set her on a path to re-examine how she taught all that she taught.  Her topic:  How Should we Teach Jewish Studies in an Age of Trump

    Our morning includes Sunday school, and for adults a Humanistic Jewish service and program.  David J. Harris, Institute for Race and Justice, Harvard Law School will speak about Humanism As a Bridge To Action.  Mr. Harris traces his inspiration to his grandfather who was a humanist.  Mr. Harris has extensive experience in many facets of civil rights.  More

    Join us for Adult Program and Humanistic Service and Sunday school.  Our program will be New Jewish Melodies. This will be an hour of song,  with new melodies composed by our music director, Zach Mayer. Zach will be accompanied by other musicians for a joyous hour with group participation.

    Join us for a staged reading, along with musical accompaniment, of “To Fill”-a fictional short story about the intimate and intergenerational effects of the Holocaust upon a family. Written by Jane Buchbinder, “To Fill” will be read by members of the KB congregation. A Q & A with the author and performers will follow.

    Susannah Heschel will speak about How Should We Teach Jewish Studies in the Age of Trump.  Professor Heschel teaches at Dartmouth College and has found that the content covered and the questions raised in her classes have changed in this new political environment. Her presentation will draw upon the wide range of areas she has researched and studied.  More about Professor Heschel click HERE.
