Adults without children will enjoy coffee hour, meeting members, participating in a service and adult program. There is a featured adult program at most KB Sunday’s. They include engaging speakers, art, theatre, music. This Sunday we will have a panel of speakers about the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement which is focussed on Israel and has stirred a lot of controversy in the Jewish community. The Society for Humanistic Judaism, KB’s parent organization is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. There will be a weekend of speakers, workshops, entertainment and celebration in the location where the SHJ was founded – Detroit, Michigan. All are welcome.

Join us for our moving and beautiful Holocaust Memorial Service. It includes readings, music, and poetry and combines the spirit of resilience and the determination of Never Again. Our speaker is Jack Trompeter, a holocaust survivor. All are welcome to attend.
Join us for a humanistic Jewish service. KB members and visitors are welcome to attend our short but important annual meeting where we affirm our structure for another year. We will also have an interactive program for part of the morning and there will be Sunday school. Visitors always welcome.
Join us for a morning of farming at Gaining Ground Farm. Gaining Ground is a non-profit organic farm in Concord that operates with the help of community volunteers, and donates all its produce to local food pantries, shelters and meal programs. A typical volunteering session may include planting vegetables, weeding, mulching or clearing the fields. This event is open to adults and kids age 5+. The activity is wheelchair accessible. We will hear from our school children about what they have learned and they will lead our humanistic Jewish service filled with singing. At the end of the morning, enjoy a potluck and hang out on the back patio for as long as you like.
Join us for our popular summer gathering at Arsenal Park (behind the mall). Great socializing, playing and eating for all ages. Visitors welcome. We have a reserved picnic area with tables, bar-b-que pits, sprinkler to run through, playing fields, shelter from the sun and bathrooms. KB provides the grill items and members bring the rest.
