Bring the whole family for an international gathering of Humanistic Jewish households, as we light the eighth and final Hanukkah candle together. Also bring your MOST UNUSUAL MENORAH for a competition with prizes for the top three entries—however you define “unusual” (could be unusually rare, unusually beautiful, totally impractical, ridiculously whimsical, etc.). We would also like to hear about your WILDEST LATKE RECIPE, the only criteria being that it has to actually be edible. By humans.

Marc Chagall: One of the 20th Century’s greatest painters grew up in a poor, Hasidic family in the Russian village of Vitebsk. Rabbi David Berkman, an artist himself before becoming a rabbi, will share with us Chagall’s creative life, explaining how—even though the young artist left behind his formal religious upbringing—his work reveals the font of creativity that emerged from his Jewish roots and culture.

We can’t have our usual winter weekend getaway in New Hampshire, but we CAN still get together virtually for some casual fun and merriment over the next week or two!
In that spirit, Ryan and Ruth will host two evenings of Code Names. They have a way to play online and will walk you through it.
