B mitzvah, a gender-neutral term for bar or bat mitzvah, is when a young person starts to think and make decisions about what kind of Jewish practice they want, how their Jewish identity relates to their lives and community, and how to live an ethical life. To that end, the KB B Mitzvah program has three components:

• an independent study project, guided by a mentor or tutor
• a community service project
• a ceremony and celebration

At this info session, Lidia will give an overview of KB's program, let people know about what resources are available to help guide the process, and answer questions.

While this info session is geared towards parents whose children will begin the b mitzvah process over the next couple years, anyone curious about KB's program is welcome!
