Join us in-person or on Zoom for this community gathering. For our program, we will hear from Sandra Mayo.

Former KB Educational Director (2009-2013) and artist Sandra Mayo will talk about her social justice-inspired art, her research and creative process. Using conceptual strategies like mapping and coding, Mayo distills human tragedies that have profound and lasting impacts on individuals, families, and societies over multiple generations. Her work captures trauma as well as resiliency and hope, moving from individual to collective experience.
