Community Gathering: KB Observes Yom Hashoah

While a meaningful and important service, some members choose not to attend this service each year, but would still like to come for the morning gathering and program. During the service, co-president Melinda Rothstein will be in the library, available to chat with anyone looking for an alternative during that time, and is open to chatting about any topics related to KB or anything else of interest.
Guest speaker: Werner Salinger
"As a boy, Salinger escaped the genocide. He returned to Germany as a young adult and fell in love with Martha, the daughter of a Nazi soldier. Their anniversary, Jan. 27, happens to coincide with International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
