6-7 Class Activity, June 12th, right after KB:
Hey, 6-7 Class: Let’s celebrate the end of the Sunday School year and the beginning of summer by doing a group bike trip along the Minuteman Trail, from Arlington Center to Ranc’s (in Lexington Center) for ice cream! Load bike(s) on the family car and take them to KB. We’ll meet between 12:30 and 12:45 on the Minuteman Rail Trail in Arlington Center, which is only about 2 miles from the Fayerweather School.
Starting point is the Uncle Sam Memorial statue in Arlington Ctr. (at the corner of Rt. 60 and Mass. Ave.). There is a parking lot right across the street where you can leave your car, unload the bike(s) and cross Rt. 60 to our meeting place.
Bike trip to Lexington is 4.9 miles one way.
Parents, siblings and other friends/relatives also welcome to bike – or you can even drive to Lexington Center and meet us there (around 1:15 or so), to pick up those who’d rather not bike the round trip.
Please RSVP to Linda Manganaro (6-7 class parent)
so that we know you are coming. Also, don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or comments.
Remember to bring helmets, water and sunblock.
Hope you will join us!
