Celebrate Chanukah with KB! Sunday, January 5, 11:00am-12:30pm

Join KB as we celebrate Chanukah on Sunday, January 5, at 11:00am at the Fayerweather Street School, 765 Concord Ave, Cambridge. 

Hear the story of Chanukah from a Humanist Perspective. Share in our holiday service and singing. Bring your menorah and candles to light, or help to light our menorah. Enjoy dreidel-spinning and other festive activities. Indulge in some holiday snacks!

If you love Jewish culture or if you are just beginning to experience it, you will find our services rich with song, meaning and celebration. Services are primarily in English and Hebrew is translated and transliterated. Customs are explained. No prior level of Jewish knowledge is needed. Appropriate for adults and children.

Your Information

Can You Volunteer?
We are looking for several people to help with setup, activities, food prep, or clean up tasks, including:
  • setting tables and putting up decorations
  • leading a craft or other activity
  • picking up a grocery or doughnut order
  • heating and serving food
  • washing dishes after the party
  • cleaning up the gym
It takes a village to put on the celebration, and many hands make light work! Can you help out for part of the party? If so, you can sign up for a volunteer time slot on the Chanukah Volunteer Sign Up Sheet here.
